Secondary Parent Teacher Conference Sign-Up

October 25-26, Logos will host fair-style Parent-Teacher Conferences for parents of students in grades 6-12.  All secondary and specials teachers will be available in the Multipurpose Room. Parents can stop by and chat with any of their student's teachers on Thursday from 3:30 to 6:00 or on Friday from 1:00 to 4:00. If you are planning to attend, please complete this sign-up form. Signing-up allows teachers time to prepare to discuss your child's progress. If you do not sign-up, you may still attend, but teachers may not be as prepared to discuss your child.

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-up

Parents should have contacted the Logos front office (016 544 467 or 017473 515) by now to schedule a specific time with your child's teacher.  If you have not scheduled a time yet, the office will need to check with the classroom teacher for availability.

Pumpkin Dash

Hello everyone!
It's that time of year again!  The weather is changing; the days are getting cooler.  Rainy season is coming to an end, we hope.  Even though the weather is still warm here in Cambodia, there is something fall-related to look forward to!  We are hosting the 4th annual Pumpkin Dash.  For the fourth year in a row, the Running Club will be hosting a fun run for kids of all ages and for adults. If you like running, if you like races, or if you just want to cheer on our runners, we're looking for you!

What distances? We will have three race categories: a 2K, a 5K, and a 10K.
When? Saturday, October 27th at 7am (registration begins at 6:30am).  There will be a small awards ceremony following the run.  All activities should finish around 9am.
Where? Race begins and ends near House #87, Street 1, New World near Wat Samrong Andike.
(All races will take place within the Borey.)
How do I sign up? All races are $5. Pay now or on the day of the race. You can enter your name and information in the sheet below. Sign up anytime between now and the race!
Why? All proceeds will benefit our upcoming trip to Siem Reap for the Angkor Wat Run.
For more information, please email Ms. Bawden (

Join us for a morning of excitement, fun, fellowship, and running.

Run the Race well,
Ms. Bawden & the Logos Running Club

Synchronized Swimming

Synchronized Swimming club will perform an exhibition of what they have learned this session at 4:15pm on November 6th and November 13th.  Feel free to come watch!

Music Teacher Needed

As you may know, our wonderful Music Teacher, Carissa Shrout, will be going on maternity leave around February.  She will be out for three months.  We are looking for someone who can step in to teach in her absence.

If you have a music background and would be interested in exploring the possibility of working for Logos spring semester, please contact the elementary principal, Mike Belloni (

Reading Week

Logos Elementary had a great Reading Week. Have a look at the bulletin board just outside of the Library for some pictures of all the activities students were involved in. Friday was our Book Character Day Parade and the class with the highest percentage of participation was Kindergarten! 88% of students and staff in Kindergarten dressed up as their favourite book character. They each won a very cute "Shelfie" book bag from Scholastic.

Each class was asked to decorate their classroom hallway bulletin board and incorporate our theme of "Leap into Reading". It was difficult to choose a winner so there was a tie! Grade 3 and Grade 5 both won and they have earned a free dress down day. Wander down the hallways and see how creative our Logos Teachers and students are!

We ended our Reading Week on Friday with some delicious ice cream at lunch.

Library Corner

A great big "Thank You" goes out to the KLPA for some new floor mats in the Library.  Students have really been enjoying them during lunch and Library class.  Stop by the Library and have a look.
