Christmas Toy Drive

Logos Student Council is partnering with the Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development organization to collect toys for less fortunate children.  The toys can either be new or used in good condition. Participation is totally voluntary. If you have any toys to donate, Logos will be collecting them from November 26 through December 7.  Elementary students should bring the toys to their classrooms and Stu-Co will collect them. The class that receives the most donated toys will get to put a pie in the the face of Mr. Jacob!

Mark your calendars! The Middle School Musical is right around the corner!

December 14

Tickets: $1

Going on sale soon!

Dress Down Day

On Friday, December 7, students can choose to participate in a Dress Down Day. Cost will be 2000 riel - all proceeds will be going to support one of our Logos faculty who has ongoing medical expenses.  Donations above 2000 riel will be gratefully accepted. Students should give the money to their classroom or homeroom teachers at the start of the day, and should follow dress-down guidelines in the Parent/Student handbook.

Secondary Progress Reports

This Friday, November 16, automatically generated Progress Reports will be emailed to parents of secondary students that have a C- or below in any of their classes this quarter. Secondary parents can check their student’s grades at any time on RosarioSIS. Parents who would like to access their student’s information on RosarioSIS will need to stop the office by or email to request a username and password.

Science Fair

Science Fair will be held on Thursday, December 6th. Judging will take place from 8:05am through 2:05pm with an optional awards ceremony to take place after school. We are looking for judges. If you can read and understand English and are available for 2 or more hours on December 7th, we would love to have you help judge. You will have a partner, will not be judged at all, and are not responsible for grading projects. You will be paid in gratitude, lunch, and snacks provided by the LPA throughout the day! Please contact Ms. Emily Cieslinski at for more information!

Logos Christmas Concert

Mark your calendars for the High School Choir and 8th Grade Band Concert Dec 4th!  Tickets can be purchased at the front office for $1 or at the door starting at 5pm Dec 4th.  Hope to see you there!

Note from School Nurse

The changing weather brings new symptoms of stuffy noses and headaches. Good hand-washing techniques are implemented at school and hopefully supported at home. Keeping hydrated is another key step in staying healthy. If your symptoms do progress to a fever please remember you must be fever-free without the aid of fever reducing medication for 24 hours before returning to school. If you are fever-free for 24 hours and return to school with medication please have an adult or guardian bring the medication that is clearly labeled, and if possible a Doctor's note (Khmer/English/Korean language is ok) to the School Nurse or the front desk and fill out an Authorization Form (English, Khmer and Korean available). I cannot administer any medication including vitamins or herbal supplements without a signed authorization form. If in doubt just call me and I can advise you over the phone. Please do not send medication, vitamins or herbal medicines in children's backpacks. All medication must be dropped off at the front desk or to the school Nurse.

Thank you to all parents and student who are quickly responding to the vaccine audit forms. This nurtures an attitude of Personal Health Responsibility!

Thank you for helping to keep our campus healthy and safe!

Library Corner

The annual Logos Library Christmas Ornament Contest is here!  In order to help decorate the library for Christmas, students are invited to create a Christmas tree ornament for their chance to win a great prize.  Ornaments must be handmade but students may get help from friends and family.  Please hand in ornaments no later than December 3.

The Scholastic order has been placed and books should be here within two to three weeks.
