Logos Back to School Night: August 18, 2017

Logos International School invites all parents to join us this Friday, August 18 at 5:30pm. This is a great opportunity for parents to meet teachers, to learn about your child's day, and to provide you with a preview of what your child will learn this school year. Parents can bring their children to visit elementary classrooms. Secondary students can also join if parents need translation.

Elementary Pick-up

Elementary students are dismissed at 3:10pm. All elementary students need to be picked-up by 3:30pm unless they are involved in the After School Program or Homework Club. Any student not picked-up by 3:30pm will be taken to the elementary computer lab for further supervision and the parent will be charged $2. Students must be picked-up by 4:00pm in the elementary lab or they will be sent to the office. At that time parents will be called and will be charged $5. Late pick-up fees: (3:30-3:45pm=$2; 3:45-4:00pm=$5)

High school students are permitted to pick-up their siblings only if they are able to provide direct supervision (within eyesight) for the student. Middle school students are NOT allowed to pick-up or supervise elementary siblings.

Early Release Days
Students need to be picked-up and off-campus by 12:15pm on Early Release Days.
After School Program and Homework Club
Students must be picked up at 4:45pm or when the program finishes.

Traffic Flow at Logos

Dear Logos Community,
Here is a reminder for traffic flow when dropping off or picking up students. There is a lot of traffic that travels in front of Logos at these times, so it is imperative that we follow standard guidelines to minimize traffic congestion and frustration.

  • Remember to drive north to south (away from Camko City road) when dropping students off or picking them up.
  • When using the new pull through drop off lane in the new gravel parking lot, please enter from the north and exit on the south side.
  • If you would like to park in the new gravel parking lot in the morning, please make sure you park well into the parking lot so that you do not block pull through traffic.
  • You may still drop your child(ren) off in front of the main gate if you wish.  We simply wanted to add another alternative for you to consider.
  • Parents, if you send a driver to drop off or pick up your child(ren) please remind him/her of these procedures. Just one car going the wrong direction can cause major congestion.
  • If you have any questions see us in the office.

Thank you for your understanding,
Logos Administration
