Logos will be closed Saturday, April 15th through Sunday, April 22nd in recognition of the Khmer New Year.  We wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Logos is turning Green!

We are pleased to announce that our Environmental Science class has begun a recycling program at Logos.  Each classroom has a bin for collecting paper products and each floor has a barrel for collecting plastics and cans.  Please help us when you are on campus by separating these items so we can make a difference in the environment.  Nice job Ms. Cielinski and her students!

Vision Screening Results for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Graders

Last week we performed vision screening for all the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. Vision screening results were sent home with the students Tuesday, April 10th. Please be on the outlook for your student's results. If your student needed to be referred to an eye care specialist, you also should have received a phone call with the results.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office at 016-544-467 or at 017-473-515.

Re Enrollment Spring 2018

Thank you all for your cooperation completing the forms to re enroll your children for next school year.  We appreciate your faith in our school and willingness to entrust your children's education at our school.  If you have any questions about this process, please call our school office 017-473-515 or email

Secondary MAP Testing | April 23-27

All students in grades 6-9 will take three standardized exams between April 23 and 27.  Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast all week.  We are looking forward to seeing evidence of the students developing skills for continued success.

Elementary MAP Testing | April 30 - May 4

As our school year is quickly coming to an end, it is also time for standardized testing. We hope to see progress made by all students in their learning. Please help your child get plenty of rest and eat a healthy breakfast. Students in grades 1 and 2 will take two exams. Students in grades 3 through 5 will take all three exams.

Reminder from the Nurse

First of all I want to thank you all for your cooperation for keeping your children home when they are sick. This greatly helps reduce the spread of sicknesses in our school. Thanks for doing your part :-).

Also, I want to remind you of the reasons for students to remain away from school:

  • Temperature over 38.0 C(100.0 F) in the last 24 hours
  • Vomiting in last 24 hours
  • Persistent cough
  • Frequent diarrhea
  • Unexplained rash
  • Uncovered infected skin sores
  • Eye infection
  • Contagious illnesses (such as Lice, chicken pox, rubella, typhoid fever, dengue, meningitis, hand/foot mouth disease, Lice, etc.)

In addition, it is school policy that if your student contracts any contagious illness, you need to inform the school office/nurse as soon as you are aware. At that time it will be determine when the student is allowed to return to class. This way we can keep illnesses from spreading.  We also inform their teacher and the other classroom parents so they can be on the outlook for the disease in their child. Also, when the student returns back to school, the student needs to visit the nurse before given permission to return to the classroom.

Thanks for your cooperation,
Casey Friedberg RN
