I am working at Logos International
as the IT Essentials instructor; I am
certified to be instructor from Cisco
Networking Academy. I’m training
a young guy name Kong phik rum,
he is a 2 years of computer science
at Rayal University of Phnon Penh
to improve his computer skill,
sharing my life experiences walking
with God, what I learned in North
America to him and hopefully,

he and his family will accept God as his saviour one day that is my
prayer for him.
My father was a musician and my mother is a singer.  I have always
liked music and dancing, even though my parents never wanted me
to follow their path. They have been encouragers to me and tell me
I am talented.  They want me to work in an office or be a doctor. My
father always said that he wanted me to become something other
than a musician.
When I was seventeen years old I met a friend in my class. He told
me about a Bible study at his American friend’s house. He kept
telling me about it for a long time. One day I decided to go with him.
They shared gospel with me, but it did not make sense. I wondered
why they were so nice to me and showed me so much love.  I soon
found out why.  One year after going to this Bible study I decided to
ask God to live in me. I need Him to save me and change me.
Jesus is my savior.
I began attending New Life Fellowship church for two years.
During that time I met a missionary named Sue Singleton who taught
English at a local college.  She became my friend.  She ran a student
ministry center near her house.  I attended their programs every
Friday.   At that student center I enjoyed fellowship with the students.
I was invited to lead the worship.  I lead worship at the student
center for four years.
At the student center I began to grow spiritually.  The student center
has offered many classes on the Bible and other areas of Christian
service.  I have learned a lot there.  I especially enjoy the studies
we were doing in Theological Education by Extension.
In 2002 my friend and I saw a need.  Christian students did not have
many options for church.  So we began praying about starting
a house church for other university students.  God told us to begin
the church.  We have been meeting for two and half years now.
My friend and I serve as the leaders of the church.  We are reaching
out to unbelievers and we hope that they will believe Jesus.
My church has a ministry to work with students from many different
provinces.  We hope that they will start a church in their villages.
We had also spent time in a refugee camp near Phnom Penh
sharing the gospel and loving on the people. Sometimes we join
together with the FOCUS Student Center to hold parties and
outreaches.  We are developing leaders and helping to strengthen
the local churches in Phnom Penh.
