FACULTY: POLLY YODER

Children are children wherever you go
and it just so happens that God has
called me to teach His children at
Logos for this season of my life.

Hi, I’m Polly Yoder a recent graduate
from Shippensburg University of
Pennsylvania and now the kindergarten
teacher at Logos. I’m so thankful for
the opportunity to grow and learn with
my students as I teach many children

from all over the world! My excitement and enthusiasm for teaching and for children is truly a gift from the Lord. Growing up I was the
child who always played school, teaching an imaginary classroom.
As I grew my heart for kids turned into counseling camps and
mentoring younger girls from my church. Now I’m able to still carry
on my dream and love for children in a formal setting as
a schoolteacher.

My goal as the facilitator of learning in the classroom is to show
the students that I care and that education is important for success.
Many children are in need of an environment filled with love and
through my community classroom and Christ’s love for the students
I hope to break through any negativity in their lives to create children
who are confident in themselves. I hope to convey to my children
that success is what they want to achieve through goals they set for
themselves and if they have education and have learned proper
communication and social skills they can go anywhere and do
anything.

I’m blessed to have my first years of teaching in a new culture where
I can learn many things along with the students and faculty through
our different backgrounds. I’m excited to see how the classroom
unfolds and how the children grow with the Lord. Thank you for
entrusting me with your children as we explore this year together.
