My name is Christine Boyer-
MacQueen. The double barrel
surname comes about because
I’ve been a Boyer all my life until
I married David, my husband over
four years ago. I became confused
when answering the phone..’Hello this is Christine Boyer, no MacQueen,’ so in the end
I combined the two to give me time
to think. I have been involved |

in the education field (in Australia) for over thirty years. I have a BA
with a double major in Mathematics (Pure & Statistics) and a post
graduate diploma in research methods and a diploma of education.
I have worked as a secondary mathematics, science and personal
development teacher, as a Technical and Further Education (TAFE)
teacher of mathematics, computers and train the trainer. I have
worked as a consultant with the Myers Brigg Type indicator.
I worked with the Australian Council for Educational Research
(ACER) as a computer programmer, researcher and project
manager.
Even though I’m one of those mathematics people, I have
researched and written an oral history of my family which took over
eight years to complete. If you want to find out about Australian rural
life please borrow it. I write a lot of poetry which since I’ve become
a Christian comes from my contemplation of God in my life.
I have only been a Christian for six years and in that time Goad has
being putting into place steps for me to work here in Cambodia.
I pray that I might serve God and do my best for the students at
Logos during my time here. |
