Dear Logos Family, Congratulations to all our volleyball and basketball teams who are heading into their final weekend of play. The high school girls volleyball team is undefeated and goes into the weekend as the fan favorite. Along with the high school boys, the girls are playing at ISPP on Saturday October 18th. The Middle school boys basketball team, under the tutelage of Coach Daren Beck, will be looking to end the season on a continued positive note as they play their final tournament at NISC. The Middle school girls basketball team has the dubious honor of hosting the season ending tournament here at Logos. Please thank the coaches for their time and efforts this season. Dear Logos Family,
As the end of the quarter is coming to a close, there is the real business of providing some sort of evaluation to each student. There are some students who define their self-worth and personal identity through their grades. Some students are very interested in their marks while others are not concerned at all. As parents and teachers, we are trying to shape and direct student learning as a positive experience through the creation of a positive work environment and habits. If we can help students see this first report card as a starting point for improvement, whether it is academic or behavioral, student attitude can become positively shaped and focused for the next quarter......

Dear Logos Family, I had a chance to speak at the high school chapel last week and I shared with the students from Philippians 2:3-4, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself." I conveyed that a person must consider his/her attitude as a key to successfully carrying out that verse. That in fact, the over-all attitude of every Christian should be one of "gratitude". If a Christian has a heart of thankfulness and appreciation, Philippians 2:3-4 is easier to accomplish.........
