One Act Plays 2014

On November 20th Logos will be having it’s first dinner theater event at 6:00pm. The High School Drama students have been working hard since the beginning of the semester writing, producing, directing, and creating four one act plays for this historic event. The event starts at 6:00pm and will be limited to 100 people - so get your tickets quickly!

This is a charitable event. All the money raised will be going to help relieve some of the medical costs of our cook who has been diagnosed with cancer.

 

 

On November 21st the students will be performing their one act plays again without the dinner. If food isn’t your thing or maybe you're busy on the 20th come on down and eat deeply of some great theater.

Carly a passionate writer with a wild imagination hates drama. She has been cast as the lead in the play and wants to have nothing to do with it. School life isn’t much better. With bullies all around she retreats to her bedroom where her imagination take her on a crazy ride to a realization that’s hard to accept.

Dr. Elizabeth Corbus, a doctor with a determination to be famous and a terrible attitude to match, has finally landed a reality TV show. She has three patients, all related, with memory problems. If she can cure them on the show she will be the envy of the world but nothing seems to be going to plan.

Josh, a young man with Lou Gherig’s disease, is taken to a support group by his best friend to find some strength to live out his remaining months. At the support group he meets Lydia and things start to look up. Life Goes On is an exploration of how this disease changes both their lives forever.

Jamie is an orphan who just been adopted and is in a bad place. No friends, no family, and a hatred for those who try and help him. Three guardian angels are dispatched to help him settle into his new life. Can they complete their mission with the annoying next door neighbor, Lizzy, always messing things up?
