Accreditation is the public affirmation that a school has attained recognized educational and institutional standards and is committed to a process of continuous and systematic improvement beyond those standards. The goal of accreditation is improved education for the children who attend our schools. |

Becoming accredited by WASC provides benefits to Logos in the following ways: |

• Certification to the public that the school is a trustworthy institution of learning (adapted from http://www.acswasc.org/about_why.htm) |

Logos International School will be visited by ACSI and WASC for our final evaluation in May of 2009, D.V. The organizations will evaluate whether we have met certain standards and will look at our progress since their last visit. Logos is currently working on meeting the rigorous requirements of both programs. |
