Karate starts promptly at 3:15 and runs until 4:15 every Tuesday
and Thursday. The cost is $10 per month. This activity that is run by
Mr. Phearak is recognized by the Cambodian Karate Federation,
which means the belts that the children earn are given through this
national organization.
Soccer for Grade 4 and 5 students will take place on the basketball
court starting in October every Wednesday from 3:00-4:00.
This is a new activity that is being run by Mr. Kangas, and it will be
limited to 21 students. Have your son or daughter sign up with
Ms. Elina at the office quickly so that they don’t miss out on
this fun activity.
Soccer for middle school students will be coached by Mr. Dawson,
Ms. Ho, and Ms. Yodder this year. Girls will be practicing on
Fridays at 4:30-6:00 at Logos, and Boys will be practicing on
Wednesday from 4:15-6:00. Both the girls and boys will be
practicing out at NISC on a day yet to be determined.
Volleyball for high school students will be beginning shortly.
Mr. Lopez will be coaching the boys and Ms. Harris and
Ms. Riddle will be coaching the girls. The boys will practice on
Fridays at 3:15-4:30 and Wednesday mornings from 6:30-7:30.
The girls will practice on Tuesday from 4:30-6:00, and Thursday
from 3:15-4:30
Basketball for High school students will be coached by Mr. Roberts
this year. Practice is on Mondays from 3:15-4:30 and Saturdays
(time to be announced). Girl’s practices will be Tuesday
from 3:15-4:30, and Thursday from 4:30-6:00.
Swimming lessons will be offered for grades one to four.
Mrs. Tolosi will be teaching these lessons on Wednesdays.
Mrs. Kim will be teaching ballet once again. This will start in
the middle of September for children in grades one and two.
Art club for middle school students will be offered by Ms. Kenny
this semester. Each session will be eight weeks long, and then
the next session will be open to new students. The art club will
meet on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:30.
Art club for students in grades three through five will begin in
the middle of September. Mrs. Injeeli will be overseeing this
group again which will be meeting every second Thursdays
from 3:15-4:30.
